Clean out your pocketbook, your money belt, and keep all cash, charge cards and cheques at home. Grab whatever cash you expect to spend on beverages, tipping and whatever pocket change you anticipate to lose and keep the rest behind.
Cynical? Not really. Just realistic. You may well have a profit after a drunken night out with your acquaintances and be blessed enough to catch a long toss at a on fire craps table. Keep that adventure considering that it’s as short-lived as it gets if you continuously consume alcohol and gamble. The pair simply do not go well together.
Leaving your money at home is a little bit drastic, but precautionary measures for drastic behavior is a requirement. If you play to profit, then don’t consume alcohol and bet.
